When You Forgive a Narcissist

And choose to stay with them.

Forgiving a narcissist for any type of betrayal, instead of ending the relationship, is the worst thing you can do to yourself.

Narcissists do not get better.

They only ever escalate to worse.

This is exactly what will happen when you choose to go that route:

As soon as you forgive the narcissist, you’ll witness them do a complete turn around.

They might even follow your forgiveness up by announcing that they’re going out this evening and that they’ll see you later.

There will be zero reflection on the matter that’s brought the two of you to this sickening situation.

The narcissist will throw overboard all feigned regret, compassion and understanding.

From that point on, you'll no longer be allowed to bring up the misconduct you forgave them for.

If at any time you do bring it up, you’ll be greeted by one of the following sentences:

  • Stop bringing up the past.
  • All you wanna do is argue.
  • We already talked about this.
  • You said you forgave me.
  • How long are you gonna hold this over my head.
